quantlab.dataset.base.stores_text(stores)[source]#

Return stores joined for an error message, or the in-memory text.

Parameters:

storessequence of str: The stores a panel reads, as BaseDataset.stores lists them.

Returns:

str: The stores joined with " + ", or "the panel held in memory" when there are none.

Examples

>>> stores_text(["data/a.zarr", "data/b.zarr"])
'data/a.zarr + data/b.zarr'
>>> stores_text([])
'the panel held in memory'
