quantlab.dataset.massive.mapped_bars.map_days#

quantlab.dataset.massive.mapped_bars.map_days(source, first, last)[source]#

Return the view’s panel of first..``last``, the map digests it was mapped with and the unplaced counts.

The digests are read before the bars are mapped: a map that changes in between leaves the older digests recorded, so the days are mapped again later rather than kept with a digest their bars do not match. The counts are {day: n} of the stored tickers the map could not place (PermatickerDataset.unplaced).

Examples

>>> panel, digests, unplaced = map_days(bars, "2024-11-27", "2024-11-27")
>>> list(digests), unplaced
(['2024-11-27'], {'2024-11-27': 1})
